CVSensor LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website www.cvsensor.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
We are an independent stocking distributor of current and voltage sensors. Our website is a product catalogue — there are no user accounts, no registration, and no online payment.

Information we collect
Information you give us. When you send an enquiry through our contact form or by email, we collect your name, company name, email address, phone number and any other details you choose to include in your message.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our server records standard technical information for each visit: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and the date and time. This is used to operate and secure the site.
Anti-spam records. When a form submission is blocked by our spam filters, we log the IP address, the time and the reason. These records are kept only to tune the filters and prevent abuse.
We do not collect payment information, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Why we use it
We use the information you send us only to:
- respond to your enquiry and provide a quotation
- fulfil and support any order that results from it
- keep our website secure and functioning
- meet our legal and accounting obligations
We do not use your information for advertising or profiling.
Who has access
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
We do use a small number of service providers who process information on our behalf and are permitted to use it only for that purpose:
- Our web host, which operates the server where the website and its data are stored
- Google Maps, which displays our location on the Contact page. When the map loads, your IP address is transmitted to Google.
We may also disclose information where required by law, or to protect our legal rights.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and related correspondence are kept for as long as needed to serve you as a customer, and afterwards for as long as required for business and legal record-keeping.
Server and anti-spam logs are kept for 90 days and then deleted.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- ask what personal information we hold about you
- ask us to correct it
- ask us to delete it
- ask us not to sell or share it — we do not do either
- receive a copy of it in a portable format
To make a request, email sales@cvsensor.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.
Security
We use appropriate technical measures to protect the information we hold, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access to our systems. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our product pages link to manufacturers’ websites and datasheets. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to read their policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be noted on this page.
